Respect & Comradery

- Challenge Coins-

...are a bit of a mystery to the world outside the military. Dating back to ancient Rome, we still use them as a symbol of respect and comradery today.

My first experience with challenge coins happened about 10 years ago while serving in a flight squadron that handed out a coin for their anniversary. The history and meaning behind it immediately struck a chord with me. I value the coins I have received over the years, as they pay homage to my experiences in the military.

Ever since then, I've used this same tradition of gifting coins to comrades that served with me throughout my career.
